New Zealand

Fox Glacier New ZealandMy family and I are now in New Zealand for a Mother’s Day trip.  It is amazing how beautiful nature is here!  There is so much to see and do it has been hard to decide what we are going to do first.  After lots of discussion we decided to go kayaking in Milford Sound.  It was a beautiful day today, about 62 degrees F., so not too warm or too cold.

During our journey we saw seals, penguins, and dolphins jumping out of the water. They are all such beautiful animals, and even more amazing when you are able to see them in their natural habitat!  Just when I thought I have seen so much for one day we then saw huge waterfalls and the wonderful Pembroke Glacier.

I am not old enough or strong enough yet, but when I am older there is another adventure I want to come back to New Zealand to do.  I want to climb the Fox Glacier crevasse in Wetland National Park. How amazing it will be to climb ice and make it to the top to see more amazing views of New Zealand.  Check it out in this picture.  Just awesome! What would you like to see in New Zealand?

I wonder where my dad will want to visit for Fathers’ Day.
