Here’s a little bit about my trip to Beijing, China. Do you know that the 2008 summer Olympics will be here? I got to see a lot of cool temples and I ate rice every day, but my favorite part was going to the Great Wall of China. That day, we took a car out towards the mountains to find the Great Wall. When we saw it in the distance it looked like a white snake on the mountain peaks. As we got closer I was so excited. We’re finally here! Once on the Great Wall, I started to run! I just kept running with my friend between the look-out towers. It was so much fun! I think I could even see Mongolia in the distance. Later that night, I decided to practice writing some Chinese characters. I also went swimming in the pool at the hotel.
