Leave nothing but footprints. Take nothing but photographs.

Wiltshire, United Kingdom

StonehengeWhen I was pretty little, my family and I took a trip to the United Kingdom.  We stayed in London for most of the trip, but one day we decided to take the train out to visit the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge.  We had to take a train to get there, and it was about a two hour ride.  This place was pretty neat!  There are these HUGE boulders set up in a circle.  They say that it was finished 3,500 years ago, and that the gigantic stones came from 240 miles away.  I have no idea how they got there because they have to be too heavy for regular people.  It must have taken 1000 people to move these things!  My parents and I walked around the entire circle.  Even though we didn’t stay very long, it is pretty cool to say that I had the chance to see this place in real life!

Off to run around in Leicester Square!  By the way, I know that has a funny spelling, but it’s really pronounced “Lester Square”.  Just thought you should know!
